My mother passed away August 26th, 2008. I never once considered her to be a person given to rank sentimentality or over indulgence of emotion, so I was genuinely startled to discover an entire scrapbook kept by her of nothing but Valentine's Day cards. I intend to post them here one by one, with as much accompanying information as I can glean from the cards themselves. Some are charming, some are confusing, some are creepy - all are interesting.
